The best time to travel to Kerala is from September to March. By this time, the monsoon is on a retreat after the harsh summer. Therefore, the weather is perfect for a day in the great outdoors. You can carry out all the activities and the humidity is more than bearable.

Kerala is exceptionally humid and hot from March to May, just before the monsoons. However, since these are off-season, the crowd is less and you can backpack around these towns on a budget due to low prices.
